When God delivered Israel out of the hands of the Egyptians, He did amazing miracles. They however quickly forgot God after all He did.
Psa. 106:21 They forgot God, their savior, who had done such great things in Egypt
Psa. 106:22 such wonderful things in the land of Ham, such awesome deeds at the Red Sea. (NLT)
God was angered that Israel quickly forgot Him.
Moses’ response is an example of an intercessor, one who stands between God and man.
Psa. 106:23 …But Moses, his chosen one, stepped between the LORD and the people. He begged Him to turn from his anger and not destroy them. (NLT)
Here’s a New Testament scripture that reveals the same thing.
1John 5:16 If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning…you should pray, and God will give that person life…
Seeing someone miss it is an opportunity to help them instead of betraying them by spreading their mistake.
We can train our hearts, eyes, and tongue to step between the Lord and His people instead of judging them.
We aren’t called to judge, but we are called to pray and forgive as we have been forgiven.
Let’s not forget God expects us to pray for one another instead of devouring one another.
Every blessing to each of you,
