Throughout the course of history, there have been some pretty impressive military commanders.
They came up with plans that outsmarted their enemies, and they won victories as a result.
We have the same potential to outsmart our enemies as we see.
Psalm 119:98 Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. (ESV)
God has always been more than one step ahead of the devil. God knew the devil would cause the fall of man, and He had the solution for it before He created the world.
Here are a few thoughts about outsmarting our enemies:
God designed and gave us; commands, promises, wisdom, instruction and so on.
All the above things may be new to us, but He had them in His heart before we existed.
Have you ever considered because God knows the future, all He designed enables us to outsmart our enemies?
It’s easy for me to believe that, He designed our equipment and ammunition millenniums ago for our use today.
Here is an example of outsmarting our enemies:
Romans 12:20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” (ESV)
The next time we read His commands, promises, wisdom, and instruction let’s remind ourselves it was designed to outsmart our enemies.
