Two things are required to love the way God loves.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
The two things required to love the way God loves are a birth into His kingdom and knowing God.
Here are some thoughts about birth and knowledge:
Those of us who have been born of Him therefore have His love.
Having His love in our heart is when we’re introduced to divine unconditional love.
After our birth, it’s important to then gain knowledge of Him.
Gaining knowledge of God is how we learn what His unconditional love looks like.
What God would do, say, or think is knowing what love would do, say, or think.
By knowing Him our minds therefore come into agreement with His love already in us.
How brilliant it is that God put His love in us, and then gave us His Word to reveal His love in action.
The combination of His Word and love shed abroad in our hearts are the “two things” that enable us to love the way God does.
