There are times in life we need discernment in a situation so it doesn’t become wearisome.
Often, it’s in the multitude of counsel through other people that discernment comes. At other times, it’s us going directly to God for His wisdom, counsel, and discernment.
Psalm 73:16 But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task,
Psalm 73:17 until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end. (ESV)
Our heavenly father can put an end to wearisome situations:
· In verse sixteen, notice how he applied himself using all his natural knowledge and understanding, without a solution.
· He came to the end of himself and realized he had no solution.
· He then went into God’s presence, and discernment and understanding came.
I have found myself in this situation many times and when wisdom and discernment come from Him, it clears away the fog and brings clarity.
Remember if you’re in a place where you’re not sure how, where, and when a solution can come, His wisdom and discernment will bring the needed clarity.
