Trust Brings Triumph

There is usually a key factor involved in a triumph. People have given credit to their training, their strategies, their will power, and various other things.

When it comes to triumphing in our Christian life, there also is a key factor that brings triumph.

Psalm 112:6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.

Psalm 112:7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.

Psalm 112:8 His heart is steady; he will not be afraid until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. (ESV)

Here are some thoughts about “trust bringing triumph”.

  • Pain, sickness, poverty, depression, and at times people motivated by the devil can be the various enemies we face.

  • Fighting an enemy using our will power or our natural strength is exhausting and frustrating.

  • Putting trust in God is a twofold process; first finding the promise that empowers trust, and second casting the care on Him.

  • What an awesome thought to think life can be lived without fearing bad news.

To live life and not be afraid of bad news would indicate we are so caught up in God and His promises that we KNOW He is leading and protecting us each day.

Let’s not carry the burdens of life, but instead trust in Him until we look in triumph over our enemies.

Every blessing to each of you,

Tony
